ABOUT THE CANDIDATE

PUTTING MY EXPERIENCE TO WORK
“Somerville is home. It’s where I saw students learn through arts and sports, beyond the classroom and with the diversity of culture that makes this place so special. It’s where I have watched our neighbors change and our community grow, and where I have been inspired to give back.”
Todd and his wife Debbie have lived in Somerville for over 20 years, watching the City grow and change. They call Ward 5 home with their three children: Simon (19), Helena (16), and Emmett (13).
Today Todd has the most challenging job of all: Domestic Executive (stay-at-home dad) to a family of five. Todd is deeply engaged with Somerville and a consistent force for good in the community:
-
Coaching soccer and baseball with Somerville Youth Sports
-
Volunteering in his children’s classrooms and with Food for Free, a weekend lunch-bag program with Somerville Public Schools
-
Promoting local engagement through the Somerville Arts Council
-
Services Family Table
-
Addressing food insecurity through Jewish Family & Children’s program
Todd originally hails from Albany, New York. He received his Bachelor of Science (Exercise Science) from Ithaca College.
